It came to may attention that there are a few new pros trying to make a name for themselves in the National races. What a lot of people do not understand is that it is not a level playing field. Riders like Villapoto and Lawerence have basically factory bikes when they go to their first National which is a huge advantage. Daniel Sani went to his first National and subsequent Nationals with a moderately modified bike nothing like the bikes many of the other riders are using. For Daniel to run 8th for some time before he was unable to see where he was going due to goggle issues, was amazing under these conditions. Just remember that when riders come into the pro ranks many things can keep them from succeeding, be smart and seek the direction needed to do your best.
