A lot of interesting things have happened since I last posted. Preston was able to push hard and end up with a podium finish at Millville in the first moto. A couple of issues held him back in the second moto, but he was still able to finish with a 4th overall. Great ride for the factory Honda rider.
Its always good to be aware of people you surround yourself with. We are always learning from our previous mistakes and I am no different. Having learned an important lesson this past week I will share it with you. When dealing with people who appear to be honest, it is always better to have everything written down at the beginning of a business venture. Then in the event of a problem, you will have your bases covered. Somehow these never seem to work out when money becomes an issue. This industry has a lot of people who think they are too cool for the room attitudes and put a good front on to make them look better, usually at someone else's expense. I will be more careful in the future when working for someone, you should be also. To those of you out there who think you can just take advantage of the kindness and assistance of others, you will pay one way or another, be ready!
